Jonathan joined PelGar in 1995, having spent the previous eight years working for ICI (latterly Zeneca Public Health), as a technical advisor for the sales regions of Western Europe, the Near East and South America.

Originally trained as a zoologist, Jonathan was subsequently awarded a Doctorate in Medical Entomology from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. After this, Jonathan became a health advisor for the Libyan Government, and was head of pest control in the Emirate of Dubai for eight years. This diverse and multi-faceted role gave him wide ranging experience as a field pest controller.

In 1987 he was awarded an honorary Lectureship in Medical Entomology at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.

Jonathan oversees PelGar’s ongoing research and development programme for new products and novel formulations.

Nic graduated from Aston University with a degree in marketing and gained valuable experience in a variety of roles including tourism and product marketing in a blue chip multinational company. Nic has excelled in customer facing roles where organisational and relationship building skills are critical.

Nic joined PelGar in 2006 to manage UK sales and help develop PelGar’s marketing strategy. Over the last few years Nic has built up a team of UK account managers. He is currently responsible for global marketing and the promotion of the PelGar brand, working closely with PelGar’s regional sales managers.

Alex joined PelGar in 2012 as Technical Manager to help support PelGar’s growing UK and global business. Alex has a scientific background, a detailed understanding of biology and animal behaviour and is a mine of information when it comes to pest control. Alex has recently been managing a laboratory responsible for culturing insect populations and testing insecticides – and has a fantastic knowledge of actives ingredients and their mode of action.

Alex has passed his RSPH level 2 in pest control giving him a full understanding of PCO training in addition to the practical exposure he has had over the past 10 years. Alex is committed to helping PelGar develop new products for the pest control industry and give technical support to ensure PelGar’s products perform to their optimum.

Vincent’s career has been focussed primarily in the area of new export business development working for Blue Chip organisations in FMCG and Biotech fields. He has travelled extensively and has experience of working in four continents which has helped him to develop multi language skills and work in a variety of culturally sensitive situations.

Vincent joined PelGar in 2013 with responsibility for the sales and marketing in Europe and the CIS countries. Vincent will be working to expand the success that PelGar already has in the European rodenticide and insecticides sector and broaden this into new markets including Russia and the CIS.

Tim has over 22 years’ experience in pest control sales and management within the UK and international pest control industry. His experience of relationship management is key to his role within PelGar.
Tim joined PelGar as UK Sales Manager following the acquisition of Agropharm in 2015. His responsibilities include management of the new combined PelGar sales team and key accounts within the UK and Ireland.

Emmanuel joined PelGar in November 2006, having spent more than 12 years in the pest control and pesticides industry. He has worked across many areas, from the sales of active ingredients to international formulators, to providing technical expertise and services to pest control companies.

Prior to joining PelGar, Emmanuel spent four years as General Manager of a sales and production unit in Italy, a subsidiary of a French group, managing both the production and sales of rodenticides and insecticides for supply to the Italian pest control industry.

Emmanuel’s current position within PelGar is focused on business development in Europe, the Middle-East and Africa, building and strengthening PelGar’s distribution networks.

Mike has a wealth of experience working in the public health arena in South and Central America through his work with ICI/Zeneca and more latterly as a business consultant.

Mike is working with PelGar to develop their business in South and Central America where PelGar’s excellence in manufacture and packaging is offering effective solutions to local pest problems.

Gerwyn joined PelGar in 2012 bringing with him 17 years experience in the pest control industry.

Gerwyn started his career with Rentokil straight out of university. After initial training as a UK technician Gerwyn moved on to work as area surveyor before being seconded to Rentokil New Zealand as their National Sales Manager and later Products Manager for Rentokil NZ.

After leaving Rentokil Gerwyn took on the role of Asia Pacific Sales and Marketing Manager for Brandenburg UK Ltd, and most recently worked for Webcot/Rural Control in Australia.
