PelGar is seeking a Administration Assistant to support the team at our site in Telford, Shropshire. You will be responsible for answering and directing phone calls, organising appointments, taking meeting minutes, booking in deliveries and supporting visitors to the site. You will assist various members of the team with inventory checks, quality control checks, packing lists and despatch of orders; covering holiday leave for these staff as necessary.

The role also encompasses developing and maintaining a filing system, data entry of production logs, maintaining the Quality Documents and logs, despatch data entry and all general document photocopying, distribution and filing.

You must be able to work under pressure with good written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. You will be conversant with Microsoft Office and your IT skills will enable to you to easily pick up other programs, on which full training will be given. Previous experience of a production or warehouse environment would be advantageous.
