PelGar International’s personal decontamination kits use modified Fullers Earth, a naturally occurring clay rich in alumina, silica, and other minerals. Once processed, it becomes a highly effective absorbent decontaminating agent for field use. The process works through physical absorption of contaminants from skin, clothing, footwear, and equipment surfaces.
In addition, PelGar International produces a Chemical Agent Decontaminant (CAD) kit, specifically designed for the decontamination of vehicles, service equipment, and storage facilities exposed to liquid chemical warfare agents.
