PelGar focuses on research and development to understand pest behaviour, conducting field trials and laboratory studies to create effective rodenticide and insecticide solutions.
At PelGar, research and development underpin every formulation. By studying pest biology and behaviour, we design products that exploit natural feeding patterns, habitat preferences, and movement tendencies. Our team has conducted extensive trials of Rattus norvegicus, Rattus rattus, and Mus musculus, focusing on palatability, bait acceptance, and behavioural responses - critical factors in rodenticide efficacy and resistance management. An extensive range of insect cultures are maintained by PelGar to assist in the development of insecticide formulations.
PelGar conducts field trials to validate product performance under real-world conditions, ensuring reliability across diverse environments. In parallel, our research laboratories culture and study over 30 insect pest species, enabling precise testing of insecticide formulations against target behaviours, life stages, and resistance profiles. This dual approach - field and laboratory - ensures our solutions are both scientifically robust and operationally effective.
