New Appointment

Raoul Persaud has joined PelGar International as Western US & Caribbean Accounts Manager and Country Manager – Central America.

With more than 20 years of sales management experience across the Caribbean and Central America, Raoul brings extensive knowledge of professional pest control, crop protection and public health markets. His appointment strengthens PelGar’s presence in the region and provides customers and distribution partners with dedicated support across Central America and the Caribbean.

Raoul holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Guyana and a Postgraduate Diploma in Agriculture, specialising in Tropical Grain Storage Management, from the University of Greenwich in Kent, UK.

During his career, he has worked with leading distributors including Renwick Incorporated, Renwick Duwest, Univar Solutions and Target Specialty Products, supporting the growth of professional pest control, crop protection and public health solutions throughout the Caribbean and Central America. He also managed the Agricultural Division of Geddes Grant Guyana Ltd, a member of the Massy Group of Companies, at Director level.

In his new role, Raoul will work closely with customers and partners to develop opportunities, strengthen relationships and support PelGar’s continued growth across his territories.

Outside of work, Raoul has a strong interest in science, technology and innovation. He is an enthusiastic traveller who enjoys experiencing different cultures, a passionate supporter of the West Indies cricket team, and enjoys spending time outdoors. He also has a keen interest in exploring new cuisines and culinary experiences.
