The PelGar International Telford team takes on the Pretty Muddy challenge to Support Cancer Research UK

Members of the PelGar Telford team recently came together to take on a different kind of challenge, swapping their usual roles for running shoes and muddy obstacles in support of Cancer Research UK.

Jeff Trueman, George Middleton, Ciprian Stingaciu, Jamie Donohoe, Martin Symms, Tracy Brown, David Phillips, Mark Perks, Jan Morgan and Allan Bromley all took part in Pretty Muddy, a 5k obstacle course that forms part of the charity’s well-known Race for Life series.

Designed to be fun, inclusive and impactful, Pretty Muddy brings participants together to climb, crawl and navigate a series of obstacles - all while raising vital funds for cancer research. The event is non-competitive, focusing instead on teamwork, determination and collective effort.

These qualities were evident throughout, as the PelGar team embraced the challenge with enthusiasm, supporting one another across every section of the course. From the first obstacle to the final stretch, it was a true demonstration of collaboration and team spirit.

Their efforts resulted in an impressive fundraising total of £1,293 for Cancer Research UK, contributing to ongoing work in prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

This achievement highlights the continued commitment of PelGar colleagues to supporting meaningful causes and making a positive contribution beyond the workplace.

We would like to congratulate everyone involved for their dedication, teamwork and willingness to get stuck in - quite literally - for such an important cause.
