2026 Rodenticide Certification

Accreditation

From 1 January 2026, the Campaign for Responsible Rodenticide Use (CRRU UK) will implement new purchasing requirements for professional-use rodenticides.

Under the new rules, buyers must present proof of competence at point of sale. Membership of a farm assurance scheme will no longer be accepted. Instead, users must either:

  • Complete a CRRU UK-approved training course within the last five years

  • OR be enrolled in a CRRU-recognised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme

At PelGar International, we fully support CRRU’s mission to promote responsible rodenticide use and protect wildlife. Our technical team is available to help customers understand the new requirements and access appropriate training resources.

We encourage all professional users to review the official CRRU Q&A guide and begin preparing now to ensure uninterrupted access to rodenticide products in 2026.
